Dr. Chen applies a numbing gel to the treatment area making this treatment virtually painless. The length of the treatment depends on treatment area and the desired results. Most Scarlet SRF and Agnes RF treatments take between 30 and 60 minutes.
Scarlet SRF and Agnes RF are safe and effective treatments with minimal side effects. Most people may experience mild redness and/or swelling in the treatment area, but these side effects typically resolve within a several hours. Agnes RF typically does cause short term bruising depending on the treatment area. There is minimal downtime associated with both Agnes SRF and Scarlet RF, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment.
The number of Scarlet RF and/or Agnes RF treatments you will need will depend on your individual goals and the condition of your skin. During your consultation with Dr. Chen, she will discuss your areas of concern and recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Most people see significant improvements in the appearance of their skin after just one treatment, but multiple treatments may be necessary for optimal results. Treatments are normally scheduled approximately 6 weeks apart.
