Dr. Nunnery is a board-certified fellowship-trained corneal specialist specializing in both refractive surgery; LASIK & PRK and lens surgery; EVO ICL. Dr. Nunnery naturally embraces the philosophies that drive the Providence Eye doctors: attention to detail, commitment to the patient, and every patient deserves clearer vision. He conducts evaluations, and surgery and is integrally involved in all of the post-operative care.
Valerie H. Chen, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has completed a highly regarded American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) two-year fellowship. Dr. Chen was invited to join the Providence Eye team after Dr. Mozayeni learned of her meticulous and artistic surgical skills for ophthalmic plastic procedures. Dr. Chen possesses all of the necessary characteristics to be a trusted member of the Providence Eye surgical team: commitment to each individual patient, meticulous attention to detail and compassion. For patients who desire or are in need of blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery, ptosis repair, lesion removal or post-Mohs reconstructive surgery Dr. Chen will bring both science and art to the table.
Dr. Gray has been practicing optometry for nearly 20 years. He specializes in providing post-operative care after laser vision correction surgery. Additionally, Dr. Gray delivers excellent quality care to patients for annual eye exams, contact lens fittings and exams, and diabetic eye care.
With extensive experience in comprehensive eye exams, ocular disease management, and post-operative care, Dr. Suggs excels in improving her patient’s vision and overall eye health. She is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to the Providence Eye & Laser Specialists community.
Dr. Mozayeni is a board-certified fellowship-trained cornea specialist specializing in refractive surgery: LASIK and PRK. He founded Providence Eye & Laser Specialists in 2003. Dr. Mozayeni conducts consultations, surgery and is integrally involved in all of post-operative care. Unlike some other Charlotte LASIK eye surgery practices, you will not be rushed through the process. Dr. Mozayeni will remain by your side in the months after your surgery to help monitor your success and ensure you achieve your optimal vision correction result.
