With over 20 years of optometric experience, Dr. Daniel Gray is a valued member of the Providence Eye & Laser Specialists team. Known for his expertise in general eye care, contact lenses, and post-operative care for LASIK, EVO ICL, and PRK, Dr. Gray ensures every patient receives exceptional and meticulous medical attention.
Dr. Gray wholeheartedly embraces the Providence Eye philosophy of delivering precise, high-quality care paired with a personalized experience. After a detour to Western Massachusetts, Dr. Gray returned to his adopted home state of North Carolina. Dr. Gray grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from NC State with a degree in Zoology. It didn't take long though for Dr. Gray to figure out that his calling was really to care for people and not animals. Dr. Gray attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he received a 2nd bachelor’s degree in Visual Science and then his Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Gray, along with his wife and two children reside in South Charlotte. When not practicing optometry Dr. Gray enjoys spending time with family and cheering for the Wolfpack.
