Reza Michael Mozayeni, M.D., Founder, Co-Medical Director, and LASIK surgeon at Providence Eye & Laser Specialists, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea specialist.
Dr. Mozayeni is the most experienced LASIK surgeon in the Charlotte, NC region. Before establishing Providence Eye & Laser Specialists in 2003, Dr. Mozayeni spent three years as medical director of a national LASIK practice in Charlotte, and four years as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Albany Medical College.
Dr. Mozayeni is an expert in his field and one of the few cornea specialists and LASIK surgeons specializing in laser vision correction in the United States.
Dr. Mozayeni opened Providence Eye & Laser Specialists in 2003 with the vision of providing a higher level of both medical and patient care in Charlotte, NC. He carefully designed the office from top to bottom to reflect this philosophy and built a team that would make patients feel comfortable in the environment.

Dr. Mozayeni is a family man who loves living in Charlotte, NC. He and his wife Kristen were married in 1992 in Boston, MA. After completing his medical training and launching his career as a LASIK surgeon in Albany, NY, they moved to Charlotte in 2000. They are proud to call their three children Charlotteans In his spare time, Dr. Mozayeni enjoys being with his family and friends, spending time outside, traveling, exercising, and keeping up with the latest technology.
