Q: Before you tell us about your experience with Providence Eye, can you tell us a little about yourself and your family?
A: I’m originally from Charlotte – l’ve lived here for 29 years, and my dad still lives in the Lake Norman area. I have a girlfriend named Randi and a cat named Luna, and I’m currently working as a marketing strategist.
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: In my free time, I like to sing and play guitar and I brew kombucha. And I love to travel – Spain is my favorite place I’ve visited so far.
Q: In your search for a LASIK provider, what made you choose Dr. Mozayeni and Providence Eye?
A: I visited multiple LASIK providers in the Charlotte area, and I ultimately chose Providence Eye for three reasons: trust, technology and Dr. Mozayeni.
Q: What stood out to you about Providence Eye versus other places you visited?
A: Providence Eye made the effort to really make me feel comfortable about the procedure. Dr. Mozayeni made me feel like I was their only patient and not just a number. Their technology was also superior to other places; it’s clear they really invest the in newest and best technology and I only wanted the best when it came to my eyes
I felt like Dr. Mozayeni truly cared. He spent a lot of time with me, answered my questions and made sure I understood and felt comfortable with the procedure, and I didn’t get that level of attention anywhere else.
Q: What aspect of your life changed most dramatically after your procedure?
A: I can see better than I ever could have imagined! I remember looking out my office into Ballantyne Corporate Park and being able to see every single leaf on one of the trees. It was amazing, a modern-day miracle.
I remember when I first got contacts in middle school and how amazed I was then – this was 10 times better! It’s also nice to not have to deal with the hassle of contacts and glasses.
Q: Being able to see leaves is one of our most common answers! It’s certainly an everyday thing that we can take for granted if we don’t know any better. What would you tell someone today who is considering laser vision correction surgery with Dr. Mozayeni?
A: If you’re considering LASIK, Dr. Mozayeni and his team are the best! I wouldn’t trust my vision to anyone else. Although you can find less expensive options, I wouldn’t trust anyone else except Dr. Mozayeni because of the peace of mind and the results I received.
Q: Lastly, with your new and improved vision, do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?
A: Sunsets. There are some really great places to watch the sun set in Charlotte, and we can’t get enough of them.
