"I would like to hereby notify any persons seeking LASIK eye surgery of the wonderful experience that I had at the Providence Eye & Laser Specialists.  This facility is one of the only two facilities here in the Charlotte area offering the IntraLASIK procedure.  I researched some of the other facilities and even went in for their free consultations.  The difference between Providence and the other facilities is that you do not feel as if you are in the market shopping for a new pair of eyes or that you cannot be sociable with the staff.  The doctor and his credentials are top notch.

The most notable of any credentials for me was the fact that the doctor himself made phone calls to me at home to insure my well being.  I am truly impressed with him.

From the initial consultation, I was impressed by the way that the surgery and all the details were thoroughly explained.  The pride in their equipment and skill level really showed.  The staff is really a plus.  They make you feel safe and at home.  On the day of my procedure, I was really nervous!  The staff really made me feel confident and assured that they would be there for me.  The doctor talked me through the entire procedure so that I knew every step of the procedure. After my visit the following day, I could see 20/20 in both eyes which is a vast improvement over my initial horrible vision.  I had to get the IntraLASIK procedure due tot the size oaf my cornea.  In IntraLASIK, a laser creates the corneal flap instead of a blade and the adjustment to the cornea is performed as in the LASIK procedure.  I am completely happy with my results and will highly recommend any persons to this facility.

Once again, I would like to not only thank the doctor and staff for my new vision, but to recommend them to all that had the same doubts that I had about embarking on the LASIK journey. "
